Born out of a deep love of New York City (which we can, of course, relate to), the owners of this financial services company in Port Melbourne approached us with the brief of creating a NYC-inspired centrepiece mural for their office.

This photorealism composite artwork was built from a number of existing images with a bit of artistic licence thrown in for good measure (cut to the Awes tag and "Big Picture" in lights). It was designed and painted by Danny Awes exclusively with aerosols over four days with every last detail accounted for. Dan's intention for the artwork was for people to stand in front of it and be transported to NYC.

The placement of the artwork in the office means that as clients enter the foyer of the Think Big office, they are greeted by the this 5m high NYC street scene. Feedback from all the staff was great, with all of them commenting on how they find something new every time they look at it.
