The guys at Pizza Deli in Sydney knew they wanted something for their new restaurant but weren’t quite sure what. We worked with them to develop a brief, asking them about the area, their business, their anticipated clientele... in order to find something we could use as the basis of our artwork to create a piece that locals could relate to. After a couple of visits and a few pizzas we noticed lots of dog owners, and a lot of French bulldogs passing by.

Dan had fun with this brief, creating a composite design out of researched photos and graffiti tags. He added the tags into and around the artwork to give it a bit of a street feel. The mural was painted over three days, fuelled by many delicious pizzas!

Dan didn't just create an artwork for us, he created the vibe of our restaurant. People stop by just to take a photo in front of our Frenchie. We love him.
