They are not as intricate and finessed as traditional realism with flat areas of colour and less shadow or rendering work. This style brings a bit of extra life and personality to an image. Realism Pop artworks are mostly painted in fun, bright, bold colours using black outlines, with themed elements loosely laid out usually in a simplistic collage format.
