LIVE EVENT PAINTING

WALL-MOUNTED ARTWORKS

For clients who aren't keen to paint directly on to a wall we have a few options - canvases, boards / panels and canvas banners can all have just as much impact as a mural, and can simply be mounted on to a wall. And the beauty of wall-mounted artworks is that they can move with you when a lease ends, an office relocates or a space gets redesigned.

Dan designs and paints every commissioned artwork to brief, in any style, on stretched or unstretched canvas or boards, in any size that fits through a door and into a space. Canvases are all custom made and can be up to three metres wide, and board artworks are built from a series of panels that mount together seamlessly to form a larger artwork that can mimic a mural. Whether you need a single statement piece or a series of artworks to be mounted across multiple walls, each piece is original, hand-painted and designed to work in the space it's made for.

CORPORATE WORKSHOPS

Most corporate art workshops are run by people who teach for a living. Ours are run by a working mural artist with 500+ commissioned projects behind him.

This changes the dynamic a bit... teams aren't being walked through a paint-by-numbers exercise. They're learning how a real mural gets made, getting hands on with spray cans and stencils, and walking away with something they're proud of - usually a collaborative artwork that can hang in the office afterwards.

No two workshops are the same. We build each one around the team, the space and what you're trying to get out of the day. That might be a two hour spray paint session at your office, a half-day collaborative mural team building day, or a tailored creative experience as part of a bigger team event. Spray paint, stencils, markers, paste-ups - we supply everything so your team can experiment, get creative and have a lot of fun.

Delivered on site at your workplace, or event venue, we supply all materials, protective gear and always leave no trace.

From time to time and usually on request, we run specialised workshops and unique street art and graffiti experiences. Workshops are an awesome corporate team-building exercise for the creatives in your business. Each workshop is designed based on the individual group's interests, needs and expectations. They can be tailored to any skill level and can be as hands on or off as groups like.

Unique experiences are tailored to each group depending on their interests and could include anything from walking tours exploring Melbourne's lesser known public art spots to wine and cheese in a world-renowned Melbourne street art studio with local artists. Both provide an opportunity to explore creativity and to learn about the worlds of street art and graffiti first hand in a fun and laid-back setting from practicing, established and renown artists. 

From tourists visiting Melbourne to corporate creative teams, we build considered, thought-out and memorable experiences for each individual group.

CONTENT CREATION

If it's not on camera it didn't happen.

A finished mural is only part of the value. The story of its creation can make for excellent content and in a commercial context it's always worth leveraging. The making of it, the artist at work, the time-lapse from blank wall to finished artwork, is some of the highest-performing content you can put on social. Done properly, it performs extremely well and means you have a few less posts to worry about.

We offer content capture in three tiers depending on what the project needs and where the footage will go.

In-house. Dan shoots during the project using our DJI pocket and GoPro. Time-lapse, WIP shots and behind-the-scenes footage. Cost-effective and easy to build in to a lot of our projects on request.

Photographer or cinematographer. For projects where the content really matters, we bring in our photographer or cinematographer to shoot stills and raw video on site. We then provide that to you or cut it into a finished video, social cutdowns or whatever your brand needs.

Full production. For bigger campaigns where the mural is one piece of a wider rollout, we work alongside a content production company to deliver the full package. Useful when there's talent on site, multiple deliverables, or the footage needs to slot into an existing campaign.

PROTECTION & MAINTENANCE

A good mural should last. Whether it lives protected indoors in a controlled environment or outside in a public space exposed to weather and at the mercy of possible vandalism, the right protection and the right maintenance over time is what keeps the artwork looking the way it did the day it was finished.

We offer maintenance and protection across two areas, on murals we've painted ourselves.

Protective coatings. Anti-graffiti and UV protection applied as a final stage on a new mural or retrospectively on an existing one. We specify the right system for the wall, the location and the level of risk. Outdoor public-facing walls need different protection from a controlled interior. We use the right materials for each situation.

Maintenance and touch-ups. Repairs to scuffs, scratches, paint chips and weathering damage. Done properly with colour-matched paints so the work blends back invisibly. For commercial venues and public spaces with heavy foot traffic, ongoing maintenance schedules can be built in from the brief.

Brief.

Tell us about your project. If you're not sure where to start, that's fine too. Scoping and developing briefs is part of what we do.

Design.

Dan researches, sketches and designs your artwork. You'll receive a full colour, to-scale digital mock-up before anything gets painted.

Production.

Dan paints. Helainie manages. We align with your schedule and keep you informed throughout.

04
Completion.

The artwork is complete and the space is left as we found it. We do a final walkthrough before we pack up.
