Thank you both again for your amazing work bringing our Hustle Hoops logos to life. The merchandise has been a huge success. The kids (and parents!) absolutely love the graffiti-style design on the training tops and we regularly see them being worn around!

If you need something designed and it's not on this list, get in touch — chances are Dan can help.
The cost of graphic design depends on the scope of the project — the type of work required, the number of applications the design needs to be translated across and the complexity of the brief. Every project is different so every quote is tailored to the specific scope.

AI design tools are tempting — they're fast and cheap. But fast and cheap has a cost that shows up later.
AI generates logos by pulling from existing visual datasets — which means your logo risks looking like someone else's. Worse, AI outputs are typically raster files, not vectors, which means they can't be scaled properly for print, signage, merchandise or vehicle wraps without losing quality. A logo that looks fine on a screen can fall apart completely in the real world.
What AI can't do is think. It can't research your competitors, understand your brand story, or make the kind of strategic creative decisions that make a brand identity work across every application and every context. It generates output. Dan generates ideas — rigorously researched, conceptually considered, and delivered in every file format you'll ever need.
Dan does use AI where it adds value in the ideation process — but as a tool in the hands of a trained designer, not a replacement for one. That's the difference between a logo that looks like it was made by a machine and one that actually represents your business.
Every project starts with a brief — or a conversation to develop one. From there Dan conducts research into your brand, your industry and your competitors before putting pen to paper. This isn't a step many designers take seriously, but it's where the best ideas come from.
From there he develops up to three initial concepts for you to respond to. Once a direction is agreed upon, that concept is taken through to finished art — refined, finalised and delivered in all the formats you need.
For brand identity projects, this process also includes translating the finished design across any additional applications — stationery, signage, digital assets, merchandise and more.
It depends on the scope of the project and Dan's availability at the time of enquiry. As a guide, most projects are turned around within one to two weeks. Book a free consultation to discuss your timeline and we'll let you know what's possible.
Design platforms promise access to hundreds of designers at competitive prices. What they don't tell you is that the fee you've budgeted gets diluted before it ever reaches the designer — platforms take a significant cut from both sides, which affects the quality and experience level you can access for your budget.
Beyond cost, there's the communication problem. On a platform you're often dealing with designers in different time zones, through a messaging system, with no guarantee of who will be available when you need something new.
When you work with Dan directly you get a local, experienced designer you can call. Someone who will answer your questions, turn around your revisions and be there when you need more graphic design work done down the track. And when that moment comes, Dan already knows your brand inside out. No briefing a stranger. No hoping the new designer interprets it the same way. No platform fees, no communication barriers, no starting from scratch with someone new every time.
Any style. Dan has an honours degree in graphic design and worked for a number of years as a senior art director in agencies. He has over 19 years of experience designing for clients across every industry and aesthetic. He has also been a practicing graffiti and street artist for over 30 years so if you looking for a designer who can also bring graffiti and street art culture to your brand, Dan is the designer for you. That's a bonus very few designers can offer.
