Original characters bring life to an artwork - a real point of connection with the artwork's audience. Working in this style, we can reference absolutely anything to design a character. And depending on the requirements, our characters can have cartoony, illustrated or realistic attributes.

In graffiti, the name ‘character’ referred to cartoon characters artists would copy from comics and paint next to their names on the trains during the new York subway graffiti era. They're a big part of graffiti art.

Composite photorealism artworks are made by combining different components of various images and photos.

This is the technique we use to paint many of our jungle scenes. Individual plant images are blended and layered with tree canopies and the sky to create a unique artwork that is suited to each space or environment. Sometimes we change certain aspects of an image, or add in fresh elements. The possibilities are endless with this technique, making it one of our most sought after requests.

We love using words as the centrepiece of an artwork. Illustrative Letter Forms based around a word, be it a business name, place, tagline or anything really, supported by the right imagery and colours, and the most suitable typeface can make a massive impact. A popular way to execute this style is to reference the old ‘Greetings from’ postcard designs, made famous by our friends at the Greetings Tour.

Our Laneways / Street Art style takes inspiration from Melbourne's art-filled laneways. Using a myriad of street art application techniques and mediums we create a multi-layered, built up, vibrant and authentic aesthetic that looks like a bunch of artists have had free-reign in a given space. We like to think of it as "curated chaos" - the built-up visual explosion Melbourne's laneways are famous for (stencils, stickers, graffiti, paste-ups, paint drips, tagging and everything in between)... designed specifically for your space.

Using a mix of styles is a great way to inject some added personality in to an artwork and allows us to create something really unique that appeals to a broad audience. We do it a lot which is why we made it its own style and gave it a name (mix of styles). This style is suited to lots of different projects but works especially well for corporate artworks, allowing us to include some (subtle) company references alongside other artistic components or photorealistic elements. 

This is our most popular style of artwork and probably the biggest crowd pleaser. Photorealism (also known as "Realism") is a highly specialised style of painting. This skill-set for this one all comes down to attention to detail and years of experience. This style is given its name because it involves taking a photo and, using spray paint (or any other materials), replicating it as accurately as possible (proportions, shadows, colours - all the details).
